Most common hereditary fundus dystrophy. It is an autosomal recessive . It is also called rod cone dystrophy. The initial symptoms is nyctalopia .It progress to visual field defects ,Mid peripheral annular defect causes Ring Scotoma also called doughnut scotoma, which is known as tubular or tunnel vision .
Waxy ,pale optic disc
Bony spicule pigmentation – which is hallmark features
Most commonly associated with Lawrence moon briefly syndrome.
